For his first collaboration with Cappellini, the Swedish designer of Kurdish origin Jangir Maddadi has designed a collection of outdoor furniture with the precise intention of capturing “the spirit of summer, when everything seems more carefree and cheerful”: this is how Vendicari Lido was born, a collection of chairs, armchairs and tables characterized by sinuous and curved lines, evoking the classic garden furniture of the 30s, but revisited in a contemporary way: Vendicari is a Sicilian island located in an enchanting nature reserve, and the furniture of this family perfectly recreates all the freshness of the summer breeze that runs through the Mediterranean. Made entirely of aluminium, a sustainable and durable material suitable for outdoor use, the Vendicari Lido chair is perfect for furnishing any type of environment with its bold, elegant and modern design. The available colours give these products an ever-changing image: pure white conveys a feeling of absolute lightness, violet blue is a clear reference to the seascape, while oxide red establishes a direct link with the natural elements.
