Description

This coffee table, Mineral, showcases the intrinsic beauty of stone and glass. The table immediately catches the eye with its transparent rectangular surfaces made of transparent glass. The use of clear glass is intentional, revealing block-shaped marble skirting boards at each end of the table. These marble blocks are the “minerals” referred to in the table’s name and have a beautifully rough, unmodified texture. The edges are carved by hand with a chisel, so each block of marble will look subtly different. Also, as a natural mineral, each piece of marble will have different patterns of lines and stains.
